Lark is a one-level bright and airy cottage with an open plan kitchen diner and living area. There is a flat-screen TV with free streaming channels and a lovely coal burner, perfect for those long winter evenings. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge, washer dryer and dishwasher— everything you need to cook, serve, and clean up for a full family dinner.

Facilities at Lark Cottage
Features
The two bedrooms both have en-suite bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower; the other with a shower/bath. Both bedrooms have stunning views overlooking the garden. The gardens come complete with a patio, hardwood garden furniture and seating areas.
Lark is one of the single-storey cottages at Champernhayes converted from the original farmhouse buildings, dating back to the late 15th century. Lark Cottage is positioned around a central courtyard which overlooks the indoor pool.
The property has independent electric heating throughout in addition to the coal burner fire. Like the other beautiful cottages, there are lots of walks nearby, and the stunning Dorset/East Devon coastline is just 2 miles away.

We stayed in the Barn with a lovely 4 poster bed which was special. The hosts were so helpful and made our stay feel like we owned the place! We held BBQs on the lawn over looking the valley. It was lovely to feel surrounded by all our close friends and family on such a special Occasion. Thank you for making our wedding perfect.

Home from home
The place was so very clean and welcoming. It was home from home with lots of space, fully furnished with everything you need. We are looking to go back next year, I would highly recommend The Barn such a very peaceful with beautiful place to relax and unwind with breath taking scenery.

What's not to love
The Farmhouse is full of the character you'd expect in a 14th Century property. Blackbird is a very well converted farm building. En suite bathrooms, log burners. Everything we wanted. All set in beautiful Dorset countryside and 5 mins to the coast. What's not to love. We'll be back!

The kids loved the pool
We stayed in a group of 6 and everything was cleaned and well organised. The aga takes some getting used to, but it was great to have a bbq to enjoy the last bit of sun of this year. The kids loved the shared swimming pool and horse.
